We are on the lookout for our founding members.
The current application window closes on 01 June 2026.
There is no application fee for those applying before this date.
Any educator who is successful from this application window will have membership fees waived for life, on the condition that they continue to meet the standards for review every three years and do not have a lapse in their membership.
Why is the application fee non-refundable?
This is to cover our costs and ensure each application can be reviewed with the same rigor and scrutiny as all others.
I have applied but realised that I need to edit my application. What do I do?
As long as the deadline hasn't passed, we can help you update your application.

Is this a qualification?
No. It is a recognition of demonstrated impact and membership of a professional body.
Can I hold other professional statuses?
Yes. Membership is independent and complementary.
Do I need to hold a Master’s or NPQ?
No. Evidence of impact is the threshold. However, you may find that the work you have done to obtain these kinds of qualifications helps in your application to be recognised as an Excellent Educator.
Is this open internationally?
Yes. We recognise impact across educational systems and setting types worldwide.
